Hello. My name is Claire Cousin and I am a Cardiff based newly qualified celebrant and I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself. It might help you to get a sense of where I’m coming from, and you can decide if I’m the celebrant for you.

Though I’m just starting out on this road, I have lots of skills which have led me to this place. I have worked as an actor for thirty years, a photographer for fifteen years alongside that, and a director for a handful on top of that. Telling stories and being interested in people has been my life‘s work. I can present your ceremony in a way that is heartfelt and audible, again my work for three decades has given me these tools.

I will listen to you and create a service that truly reflects both your feelings and your vision. You may have tonnes of ideas and a very clear idea of what you need but you may feel overwhelmed. In either scenario, I am here to guide you through the process and create a ceremony that reflects you and yours.

And on the personal side, I am a mother of two grown boys, a wife and a dog lover. And no stranger to a silent disco. Can’t get enough of them. Fun. But, well, quiet.
